Board Members - Community Living Lennox & Addington
Nancy Fisher, President
Nancy was born, educated and married in Ottawa. She and her late husband, Keith Fisher-OPP, moved to Napanee in 1979 and raised three beautiful daughters. Nancy is a grandmother to five grandchildren. Nancy worked predominately in financial services at the Bank of Montreal, Municipal Trust and the National Bank of Canada. She also owned and operated a workwear clothing store in Napanee for several years. Nancy’s volunteer experience is tremendous and includes work with St. John’s Ambulance, Napanee Optimist Club, Relay for Life, Napanee Highland Dancers, Napanee BIA and, of course, Community Living Lennox & Addington. Nancy looks forward to future endeavours with CLL&A. Nancy has been with CLL&A’s Board of Directors since 2010. She brings a wealth of volunteer experience and a keen sense of the banking industry.
Lori Morris, Past President
Lori has a long history with Community Living Lennox & Addington. Her parents were two of the founding members of Community Living and both served as Board members for many years. Lori’s sister, the late Linda, was supported by CLL&A for many years. Lori joined the CLL&A Board of Directors in 1999 as her mother was stepping down from her role on the Board, helping to carry on their family involvement with the Board of Directors. Lori is currently Board President, a role she has also served in the past. Lori and her husband, Ron, both grew up locally and have raised three children. Two of their children work in the developmental services sector. Ron, now retired, worked for many years at the John M Parrott Centre For The Aged. Lori is an optician and owns and operates Napanee Opticians. Lori has volunteered in the past with School Councils and is currently volunteering with 100 Women Lennox & Addington.
Diane Lennox, Vice President
Diane moved to Napanee in 1971 from Sarnia, Ontario. She attended Napanee District Secondary School and St. Lawrence College. She has spent 30 years as a Financial Advisor with CIBC and is currently the Senior Financial Adviser and Retirement Specialist. Diane is married to Adam Milligan who runs a successful dairy farm, Milligan Farms. Diane has volunteered with CIBC Run for the Cure, the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Cancer Society. She has been with CLL&A’s Board of Directors since 2011 and provides sound financial knowledge and a studied perception of market trends.
Gail Burtch, Treasurer
Gail Burtch (the former Gail Goodfellow) was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario. She spent much time in Napanee over the years cheering on her father, Tom Goodfellow, who played with the three-time Ontario hockey champions, The Napanee Comets. After high-school Gail studied at Queen’s University earning an Honours Degree in Psychology. Gail has been married for 39 years and is the proud mother of three children and grandmother to two. Gail moved to Lennox and Addington County in 1978 and worked as a Residential Counsellor at Ongwanada before returning to university to complete her Bachelor or Education. For 27 years Gail taught special needs students. She has volunteered for the past 12 years with Lennox and Addington Special Olympics and sits on the Special Olympics Council. Gail coaches and manages basketball, bowling, golf and softball for Special Olympics. Since joining Community Living Lennox & Addington’s Board in 2011, Gail has brought a wealth of knowledge about the needs of individuals supported to her position as Director.
Marilyn Cole, Director
Marilyn has been with CLL&A’s Board of Directors since 2000. She joined the Board to support her sister, Judy, and Judy’s husband, Lionel, who attended CLL&A for many years. Marilyn also volunteers with the Lennox and Addington General Hospital holding many senior volunteer leadership roles. Marilyn has worked with the United Church Women’s group and currently sits as the Secretary to the Church Board. Marilyn spent her 28 year career teaching elementary and secondary school. She and her husband, Roger, raised a daughter and son and are blessed with four teenage grandchildren. Roger served for many years in municipal politics acting in many positions and currently sitting as a Councillor on the Greater Napanee Council. Marilyn continues her connection with individuals in the developmental services sector through her involvement with Lennox and Addington Special Olympics. Marilyn brings a thorough understanding of CLL&A’s history with her as a long-standing Board Director.
Pam Oliver, Director
Pam Oliver is well known in Napanee as the General Manager and General Sales Manager of local radio station myFM. Pam spent her life in the Greater Napanee area. She and her husband, Grant, raised their two daughters here. Pam operated a floral shop in Napanee for several years before moving to a sales position for a local newspaper and then on to myFM in 2007. As a volunteer, Pam has had a busy career. She canvassed for the Heart and Stroke Foundation for more than 30 years and organized their BIG BIKE event for several years. She has held different positions with the Napanee BIA including the role of Chairperson. Additionally Pam has worked with the Rotary Club and held the Corporate Sponsor Chair for the Relay for Life. She has also been CLL&A’s Board of Director President in the past and recently returned to rejoin the Board. Pam is a seasoned media professional who has provided wise advice to CLL&A.
Lois Swenson, Director
Lois Swenson joined Community Living Lennox & Addington’s Board of Directors in 2015. Lois is a local resident with strong ties to the local community. She owned and operated the bulk food store in Napanee. She has been a dental assistant for the past twenty-five years, working in this position with many special needs individuals. Lois is a proud mother as well as a grandmother to four, the youngest of which has Down Syndrome. Lois is an avid leaner with a strong sense of duty. Lois was excited for the opportunity to continue to grow and be a part of the Community Living family.
Luci MacLauchlan, Director
Luci MacLauchlan joined the Community Living Board of Directors in 2015. Luci began her career as an Intensive Care nurse. She finished her medical career as Head Nurse of the Intensive Care Unit at Queensway General Hospital (Etobicoke). Luci returned to school to study the law and was called to the bar in February 1992. She predominantly practices Family Law. Her interest in Community Living is natural having both a sister and a daughter who have worked in the developmental services sector. As a volunteer Luci was president of the Lennox & Addington Bar Association and sat on the Board of Interval House. Luci is the proud mother to three children. Luci brings the compassion and a solid legal knowledge to CLL&A.
Annie McNutt, Director
Annie McNutt joined CLL&A in 2015. Annie is a Home Share Caregiver with Ongwanada. In the past, Annie worked as a Night Supervisor for Elizabeth Cottage before becoming a Manager of La Cache in Kingston. Annie went on to provide office support for the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy. Annie has an Addictions Treatment Worker diploma from St. Lawrence College and is a certified Life Skills Coach. As a Home Share Provider, Annie understands and supports the goal of individuals to share their lives in a family setting. Annie brings that valuable insight and perspective to CLL&A.
